Silver Futures Close Flat at Rs 2.39 Lakh Per Kg on Thursday

Silver futures were nearly flat on Thursday, closing at Rs 2,39,607 per kg in futures trade. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 31 or 0.01 percent.

The business turnover was a significant 6,876 lots. Analysts pointed out that a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.

Globally, the white metal was trading lower at USD 68.35 per ounce in New York, down 0.35 percent.
