Silver Futures Fall on Weak Trends and Low Demand
Silver futures have declined in value due to weak trends and subdued domestic demand. The white metal's price fell by Rs 271 to Rs 2.17 lakh per kilogram in futures trade, marking a 0.12% decrease. This decline is attributed to the low business turnover of 12,973 lots for September delivery.
Traders point out that lower domestic demand and weak global trends have put pressure on silver prices. The MCX India saw this drop in value as traders continued to sell off silver futures.
