Silver Futures Jump 0.96% to Rs 2.38 Lakh Per Kg on Monday
Silver prices surged in India on Monday as futures contracts rose to Rs 2.38 lakh per kg, marking a 0.96% increase.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw a business turnover of 1,412 lots for the white metal's September delivery, which increased by Rs 2,270 to Rs 2,38,194 per kilogram.
Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices to fresh positions built up by participants. This trend is consistent with the global market, where prices are firm.
