Silver futures fell on September 1st in India's futures trade as participants reduced their bets. The price of Silver decreased by Rs 1,955 to Rs 2,40,489 per kilogram. This decline is attributed to a sell-off by participants.

The December delivery contracts for Silver declined by 0.81% in the business turnover of 2,004 lots. Analysts stated that the main factor weighing on silver prices was the sell-off by participants.

Globally, the white metal was trading 1.04% down at $68.22 per ounce in New York. The decline in global prices also contributed to the fall in Silver futures in India's futures trade.
