Silver Futures Prices Decline on Reduced Bets

Silver futures prices fell by Rs 851 to Rs 2,34,596 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets. The decline was observed in silver contracts for September delivery, which decreased by Rs 851, or 0.36 percent, to Rs 2,34,596 per kg in a business turnover of 3,644 lots.

Analysts pointed out that a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices. Despite this, the white metal was trading 0.29 percent up at $64.67 per ounce globally in New York.
