Silver futures have seen an uptick in prices due to fresh positions and firm global cues. On August 21, 2026, silver prices rose by 0.97% to reach Rs 2.45 lakh per kg in the futures trade. The increase was driven by new buying interest from participants.

The white metal for September delivery increased by Rs 2,369 in business turnover of 2,663 lots, indicating a rise in demand. Analysts attributed the price hike to fresh positions built up by participants in the market.
