Silver futures traded nearly flat on Thursday, settling at Rs 2,39,607 per kilogram in futures trade. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 31, or 0.01 percent, to Rs 2,39,607 per kg in a business turnover of 6,876 lots.
Analysts attributed the sell-off to participants reducing their bets on silver prices.
