Silver Price Breakout Looms Above $66.80 Resistance Zone
The silver price has shown minor strength on Monday, reaching a high of $66.56 and establishing a higher daily high and low for the first time in three days.
This is significant because it indicates that the underlying strength of the market remains intact, despite repeated tests of resistance without a significant reversal.
A key initial resistance zone was tested for the sixth day on Monday, and while the price did not break above $66.80, it did close above the highest level of the advance at $65.74, providing another incremental sign of strength.
Looking ahead, a breakout above $66.80 would confirm renewed upside momentum and open the door to higher resistance targets, including the 100-day moving average near $68.71 and the longer-term 200-day moving average near $71.60.
