The silver price in Maharashtra has been fluctuating throughout July 2026. According to Business Today, the rate opened at ₹2,60,900 per kilogram (KG) on July 9th and rose to a high of ₹2,77,900 on July 6th. However, it fell to a low of ₹2,17,900 on July 15th before settling at ₹2,39,900 by July 24th.
The trend is consistent with the overall performance in June and other months this year. In March, the rate opened at ₹3,13,000 and settled at ₹2,62,900 by the end of the month. Similarly, in April, it rose to a high of ₹2,93,000 before falling to ₹2,68,000.
The silver purity is typically expressed in fineness, indicating the percentage of pure silver in an alloy. For example, 999 fineness means 999 parts out of 1000 are pure silver. The final showroom price will always be higher due to making charges and GST.
