Silver Price Plummets in Thane, Only to Rebound in May
The silver market has seen significant fluctuations in Thane, India over the past few months. In January 2026, the rate opened at ₹2,56,900 per KG and rose to a high of ₹4,28,100 before settling at ₹4,12,900 by the end of the month.
However, the trend reversed in February 2026, with the price dropping from ₹3,68,000 to ₹3,02,900. The market continued to fall in March 2026, with the rate decreasing from ₹3,13,000 to ₹2,62,900.
In April 2026, the price remained low at ₹2,73,000 before increasing to a high of ₹2,93,000 in mid-month. The rate stabilized at ₹2,68,000 by the end of the month.
May saw a significant rise in prices, with the rate opening at ₹2,73,000 and reaching a peak of ₹3,28,100 before settling at ₹2,98,000.
