Silver Price Surges Above $69 Amid Weakening US Dollar
Silver prices have surged above $69 as the US Dollar weakens, with XAG/USD rising over 18% in one month.
The metal's price broke decisively above $69 on Friday, driven by a decline in the Dollar and an increase in long-dated bond buybacks in Washington.
According to Brian Lan, Managing Director at GoldSilver Central, the Dollar decline has supported precious metals, including silver and gold.
The immediate technical test for silver is now $72, after clearing the resistance area of $66.80-$67 earlier this week.
