The spot price of silver rose to $61.18 per ounce on August 6th, marking a gain of 2.92% or $1.73 from the previous close of $59.45.

This increase follows a year-on-year rise of 61.85%, with prices having more than doubled since last year's average of $37.80 per ounce.

The current price is still 47.88% below its 52-week high of $117.39, but remains 63.71% above its 52-week low of $37.375.
