Silver Price Volatility in Mumbai: August Prices Reach ₹2,66,000
The trend of silver prices in Mumbai over the past few months has been quite volatile. In August, the price per kilogram (KG) reached a high of ₹2,71,100 on August 12th and a low of ₹2,17,900 on August 5th. By August 16th, the rate had settled at ₹2,66,000 per KG.
This is a sharp contrast to July, when prices were falling, with the lowest rate recorded at ₹2,39,900 on July 31st. In June, prices also fell, reaching a low of ₹2,18,000 on June 25th and settling at ₹2,44,900 per KG by the end of the month.
The price trend in May was different, with prices rising to a high of ₹3,26,100 on May 14th and a low of ₹2,65,000 on May 3rd. By May 31st, the rate had settled at ₹2,98,000 per KG.
