Silver futures declined on Friday in India due to profit-taking and global market uncertainty. The price of silver fell by Rs 749 to Rs 2.41 lakh/kg, capping a two-day gain.

The decline was mainly driven by investors booking profits after recent gains, while concerns over the global economic outlook also weighed on sentiment.

Akshat Siddhant, Lead Quant Analyst at Mudrex, pointed out that renewed US strikes on Iran and Iranian retaliation have tightened supply concerns, keeping fuel prices elevated. This has impacted investor appetite for precious metals, with concerns over inflation and interest rates also increasing.
