Silver Prices Eye $73.51 as Bulls Hold Ground

Silver futures closed near $66.82 on December's last trading day, holding above the monthly VC PMI mean of $65.44 after recovering from the five-day low of $63.88. The market retains a bullish bias as long as silver sustains acceptance above $65.44.

The recent high at $68.18 provides a short-term target, with a decisive breakout and close above $73.51 exposing Monthly Sell 2 at $80.12. Failure to hold the mean would weaken momentum and reopen $63.88, with deeper monthly support at Buy 1, $58.83, and Buy 2, $50.76.

The VC PMI is a mean-reversion model that identifies statistically extreme zones associated with approximately a 90% probability of reverting toward the mean. Traders should wait for confirmation at the levels, scale positions in measured increments, and use predetermined risk controls rather than chasing price between signals.
