Silver Prices Fuel Americas Gold Revenue Surge
Americas Gold and Silver Corporation reported significant revenue growth in Q2 2026, driven by higher realized silver prices. Consolidated net revenue reached $46 million for the quarter ended June 30, a 71% increase from the same period last year. The company attributed the strong results to stronger realized silver prices and improved operational performance at its flagship Cosalá operation in Mexico.
However, earnings fell short of analyst expectations, with a net loss of $5 million for the quarter, compared to a $15 million loss in Q2 2025. Adjusted EBITDA swung to a positive $12 million from a loss of $4.1 million in the same period last year.
The company's production was mixed, with consolidated silver production totaling approximately 665,000 ounces for the quarter, down from the prior year due to planned maintenance at its Idaho operations. Silver-equivalent production fell 5% to about 801,000 ounces.
