The latest data from Business Today reveals that the price of silver in Coimbatore has been fluctuating over the past few months. In August, the price of one kilogram of silver fell to ₹2,23,900 by the 5th, down from a high of ₹2,53,000 on August 2nd.

Looking at the historical data for the past six months, it's clear that silver prices have been falling across all periods. In July, the price dropped to ₹2,39,900, while in June it reached a low of ₹2,22,000.

The only exception was May, when the price rose to ₹3,03,000 by the end of the month. However, this increase was short-lived, as prices fell again in June and July.

It's worth noting that silver purity is typically expressed in fineness, indicating the percentage of pure silver in an alloy. For example, 999 fineness means 99.9% silver content with minimal impurities.
