Silver Prices Plummet on MCX Amid Reduced Participant Bets
Silver prices plummeted on Monday, falling by ₹1,955 to ₹2.40 lakh per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery declined by 0.81% to ₹2,40,489 per kg in a business turnover of 2,004 lots.
Analysts attributed the sell-off to participants mainly weighing on silver prices.
Globally, the white metal was trading down at $68.22 per ounce in New York, with a decline of 1.04%.
