Silver Prices Plummet on Reduced Trader Bets

Silver futures fell on low trend in India's commodity market.

The price of silver declined by Rs 508 to Rs 2,18,867 per kilogram in futures trade as participants reduced their bets.

Silver contracts for September delivery dropped 0.23 percent in a business turnover of 1,084 lots.

Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices globally, with the white metal trading 0.23 percent lower at $57.46 per ounce in New York.
