Silver Prices Plunge in Maharashtra Amid Ongoing Market Volatility
The price of silver in Maharashtra has been fluctuating throughout August 2026. On August 1st, it opened at ₹2,50,900 per kilogram (KG), but by August 5th, it had dropped to ₹2,17,900 KG.
This decline is part of a larger trend in the state's silver market. In July, the price fell from ₹2,61,100 on July 3rd to ₹2,39,900 on July 31st. June saw an even greater drop, from ₹2,95,900 on June 1st to ₹2,44,900 by June 30th.
In contrast, May was a rising month for silver prices in Maharashtra, with the price increasing from ₹2,49,900 on May 1st to ₹2,98,000 by May 31st. April also saw an uptick, with prices rising from ₹2,50,100 on April 1st to ₹2,68,000 by April 30th.
