Silver prices have fallen significantly in futures trade, declining by Rs 3,576 to Rs 2,17,597 per kilogram. This drop is attributed to a reduction in bets placed by participants.

The silver contracts for September delivery saw a decline of 1.62% in 1,716 lots. Analysts state that the main factor contributing to this downturn was a sell-off by participants.

Globally, the white metal is trading 1.95% down at $57.22 per ounce in New York.
