Silver prices rose on August 27, according to FXStreet data. The precious metal traded at $68.39 per troy ounce, a 0.38% increase from the previous day's price of $68.13.
This rise comes after a year-long decline, with silver prices decreasing by 3.79% since the beginning of the year.
The Gold/Silver ratio also saw a slight decrease to 67.17 on Thursday, down from 67.42 on Wednesday.
