Silver Prices Soar on US Inflation Fears
Silver Spot () has seen a sharp rebound in today's session, climbing 1.3% to trade at $64.396 per troy ounce.
This recovery comes after a steep drop on Thursday following US producer prices accelerating in August.
The price increase was driven by traders buying the dip ahead of the release of the US August Consumer Price Index report, which is the final major inflation print before the Federal Reserve's September 15-16 policy meeting.
The recent bounce has been influenced by a mix of factors, including safe-haven demand elevated due to US-Iran tensions near the Strait of Hormuz and supply-side issues resulting in a fifth consecutive annual supply deficit through 2025.
