Silver Prices Surge 2% as Crude Oil Declines Amid Easing Inflation Fears
Silver futures rebounded nearly 2% on Friday as crude oil prices declined, easing inflationary concerns and supporting demand for bullion. The white metal rose by ₹4,149 to ₹2.44 lakh per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to firm global trends.
The September delivery contract climbed by ₹4,149, or nearly 2%, to ₹2,44,800 per kilogram, while the December contract advanced ₹3,760, or 1.52%, to ₹2,51,569 per kg on the commodities bourse.
Traders attributed the recovery of silver futures from early weakness to lower crude oil prices and easing concerns over supply disruptions in West Asia.
