Silver Sees Biggest Monthly Gain Since January Amid Easing Tensions
Silver prices have risen in European trading on Monday, holding above a two-week low reached earlier in the Asian session. The metal is supported by bargain buying and a weaker US dollar against a basket of global currencies.
The white metal is on track for its biggest monthly gain since January, driven by stronger investment demand as liquidity concerns ease amid declining military tensions between the United States and Iran.
According to Economies.com, silver prices rose 1.2% to $67.18 an ounce from an opening level of $66.38. This comes after a low of $65.62 was recorded on August 19.
