Silver Surges as Inflation Data Meets Expectations Amidst Geopolitical Tensions
Silver prices surged more than 2% on Wednesday to around $66.00 as inflation data from the US met market expectations.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.1% in July, while the annual rate eased to 3.4%, both figures aligning with forecasts.
A weaker US Dollar and lower US Treasury yields also contributed to Silver's advance, as investors seek safe-haven assets amidst ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
