Silvercorp Metals reported strong earnings for Q1 fiscal 2027, driven by higher silver prices and robust cash generation. Revenue surged 70% year over year to $139 million, with silver accounting for 77% of total revenue at an average price of over $69 per ounce. The company's reliance on its flagship Ying mine was evident, as it generated about 95% of mining operating income.

Cash flow from operating activities reached nearly $62 million, while free cash flow totaled $29 million, both rising year over year by 28% and 27%, respectively. Net income came in at $59.4 million, or $0.27 per share, with adjusted net income more than doubling to $53.9 million or $0.24 per share.

Silvercorp's balance sheet remains robust, with $387 million in cash and stakes in associates and other companies valued at $304 million as of June 30. The company also has access to approximately $220 million in undrawn RMB term loan facilities, providing substantial financial flexibility for ongoing and future growth projects.
