Silver's Explosive Uptrend Revives with AI-Driven Demand
The agricultural sector is experiencing a bull market, driven by rising input costs and concerns about crop yields due to drought and heat. The Invesco DB Agriculture Fund (DBA) has reached a new one-year high, up 25.8% over the past two years.
Investors can gain exposure to this trend through agricultural stocks such as Nutrien (NTR), CF Industries (CF), and Mosaic (MOS). These companies are well-positioned to benefit from the increasing demand for food and other agricultural products.
The price of silver is also rallying, reaching its highest level since June. Silver has been in a sideways consolidation range since peaking at $121 per ounce in January 2025. The precious metal's high electrical and thermal conductivity make it a critical component in AI infrastructure and other electrical systems.
Analysts estimate that if just 10% of new global data centers integrate silver-enhanced components, industrial silver demand could rise by 10% over the next decade. A structural deficit of 148.9 million ounces in 2024 has left the market running short on silver.
