SJC Gold Prices Plummet as Global Market Drops
The global gold market experienced a decline on July 28, with prices trading at $4,045 per ounce. This drop in global gold prices had a ripple effect on the domestic Vietnamese market, where SJC gold bars and rings saw significant price drops to 141.5 million VND and 141 million VND per tael, respectively.
The VN-Index also continued its upward trend on July 28, rising by 11.61 points to 1,680.62, driven by strong performances in banking, securities, and basic materials stocks.
