SK Enmove Partners with HF Sinclair for North American Base Oil Supply

SK Enmove, a South Korean company, has partnered with US refiner HF Sinclair to supply premium Group III base oil in North America. The long-term agreement will see SK Enmove supplying its YUBASE brand to HF Sinclair's lubricants and specialties division.

The partnership comes amid rising demand for Group III base oil due to Middle East-driven supply risks. SK Enmove has three production bases, in South Korea, Spain, and Indonesia, which export to around 40 countries.

Heo Jeong-uk, head of SK Enmove's Base Oil Business Division, stated that the company's stable supply system was key to securing this partnership. 'With demand for premium Group III base oil growing amid recent Middle East supply risks, we will work to ensure stable supply of our world-class YUBASE products to North American customers through this collaboration with HF Sinclair.'

Matthew Joyce, senior vice president and president of HF Sinclair's Lubricants & Specialties division, added that the partnership will provide 'high-quality lubricant solutions that meet customer expectations'.
