A recent technical report on Greenland's Skaergaard gold, palladium, and platinum project used a $3,500 gold price assumption. However, since then, gold prices have risen to around $4,367 an ounce.

The project, owned by Greenland Mines Ltd (Nasdaq: GRML), is one of the largest undeveloped gold, palladium, and platinum deposits in the world. The company's 2026 field season has just begun, with a support vessel anchored near the site and drilling underway.

The technical report, published in July 2026, estimated indicated mineral resources of 153.6 million tonnes grading 3.04 grams per tonne palladium equivalent for 15.00 million ounces of contained palladium equivalent.
