Solitude FID Triggers Jump in Waha Natural Gas Forward Curve
Solitude FID has caused a significant jump in long-dated Waha Natural Gas forward curve, according to data from Entropic Analytics' Product Suite.
The Waha Natural Gas forward curve is used to determine prices for natural gas delivery at the Waha Hub in Arizona. The Solitude FID refers to a Final Investment Decision made by Kinder Morgan's subsidiary, which will bring new pipeline capacity online.
Data from Entropic Analytics shows that the long-dated Waha Natural Gas forward curve has increased significantly since the announcement of the Solitude FID. This increase is likely due to the additional pipeline capacity that will soon be available at the Waha Hub.
