Source Rock Royalties Sets Record Quarterly Revenue Amid Oil Price Rise
Source Rock Royalties Ltd. (TSXV: SRR) has announced its second-quarter 2026 results, which show a record quarterly royalty revenue of $2,134,983, up 40% from Q2 2025.
The company's quarterly royalty production was 220 boe/d (94% oil and NGLs), down 7% over the same period last year. However, its adjusted EBITDA was $1,932,155 ($0.042 per share), a significant increase of 49% over Q2 2025.
Source Rock also acquired a 0.5% gross overriding royalty in producing lands in Saskatchewan and a 50% interest in 16.75 sections (10,720 acres) of Crown mineral leases in Alberta for $402,073. The company's working capital as at June 30, 2026, was $4,899,871.
For the year-to-date period, Source Rock's royalty revenue was $3,440,390, up 7% over the same period last year. Its adjusted EBITDA for the six months ended June 30, 2026, was $2,951,766 ($0.065 per share), a 7% increase from the same period in 2025.
