Southern Energy Corp. Drills Successful Cotton Valley Well in Williamsburg Field

Southern Energy Corp., a natural gas exploration and production company, has announced the successful drilling and casing of its Cotton Valley vertical well in the Williamsburg Field. The Terrible Creek 21-2 #2 well was drilled to a total depth of approximately 18,825 feet in just under 22 days.

The Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, Ian Atkinson, commented on the operation: 'We are very pleased with the operational performance on our first Cotton Valley well in the Williamsburg field.'

Southern Energy Corp. plans to begin completion and testing operations in the Cotton Valley formation, with test results expected to follow once available.
