Soybean Futures Decline on Weak Sales and Rain
Soybean futures declined overnight on weaker weekly export sales and precipitation in parts of the Corn Belt. The USDA reported that soybean sales to overseas for delivery in the 2026/2027 marketing year totaled 1.72 million metric tons, down from 1.76 million tons a week earlier.
China was the big buyer at 1.13 million tons, followed by an unnamed country at 222,000 tons and Mexico at 161,500 tons. Prices were also pressured overnight on expectations for precipitation in several areas of the Corn Belt.
