Soybean Futures Rise as Traders Eye USDA Supply Report
Soybean futures have ended higher on the Chicago Board of Trade following a volatile session. The New-crop November soybeans closed at $11.79-1/2 per bushel, up 3-1/4 cents from the previous day.
Traders are positioning themselves ahead of Wednesday's USDA supply and demand report. Analysts expect the agency to reduce its forecasts for U.S. 2025-26 and 2026-27 soybean ending stocks.
The severe July weather has led to concerns about yield losses, but recent rainfall has reduced these concerns. The USDA is expected to maintain its condition rating for corn and soybeans in its weekly report.
