Soybean futures are trading higher at midday, with contracts up by 1 to 3 cents. The cmdtyView national average Cash Bean price has increased by 5 ¾ cents to $11.52 ¼. Soymeal futures are also rising, up 40 to 90 cents across the front months, while Soy Oil futures have declined by 20 to 50 points.

The USDA reported a private export sale of 132,000 MT of soybeans to China for the 2026/27 crop year earlier in the day. This news has contributed to the upward momentum in the market.

New crop sales exceeded expectations at 1.333 MMT, a 3-week low but still higher than last year's sales. Old crop sales, however, reached a 5-week high of 302,260 MT, a 10.49% increase above the same week last year.
