Soybean Futures Surge on Stronger Crush Pace, Higher Oil Prices
Soybean futures surged on Monday as market analysts cited an increased soybean crush pace and higher crude oil prices as driving factors.
The most-active CBOT soybean futures rose by 23.5 cents to $12.16 a bushel, while corn futures also gained ground.
Data from the National Oilseed Processors Association revealed that NOPA members processed 216.647 million bushels of soybeans in July, representing a 1.1% increase over June's crush pace and a 10.7% hike compared to July 2025.
The daily crush rate reached 6.989 million bushels per day, down from 7.145 million bushels per day in the previous month.
