Soybean Outlook Gains Strength as Corn Faces Seasonal Pressure

Crop analysts are gaining confidence in this year's soybean harvest as fields show strong conditions ahead of schedule. In Minnesota, University of Minnesota expert Ed Usset notes that some areas are particularly impressive, with healthy-looking crops. While acknowledging a 'mixed bag,' he agrees with the USDA's assessment of an average yield.

Usset also forecasts that corn prices will not fall below $4 per bushel as they did in previous harvests. However, seasonal harvest pressure may trim around 30 cents from market value before new opportunities emerge.
