Soybeans and Corn Dominate US Export Sales to China and Mexico
The latest data from USDA AgTransport reveals that soybeans and corn dominated U.S. agricultural export activity by volume in the week ending September 3, 2026.
According to the dataset, aggregated net sales totals place soybeans at roughly 5.10 million metric tons, corn at about 3.88 million metric tons, and wheat at approximately 196,764 metric tons.
The top destinations for these exports were China and Mexico. China recorded soybean net sales of 1,222,000 metric tons in marketing year 2026/2027, with total commitments of 8,983,000 metric tons and outstanding sales of the same amount.
