In Indore, wheat prices held steady at ₹2,840 per 100 kg, supported by firm demand from millers and traders ahead of the festive season. Demand is expected to gather pace from mid-August with Raksha Bandhan, followed by Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Dussehra, and Diwali.
Traders are awaiting clarity on the government's open-market sale programme, with expectations that the schedule could be announced by mid-August. In Kota, Rajasthan, wheat prices remained stable at ₹2,550 per 100 kg, with arrivals unchanged at around 7,000 bags of 50 kg each.
