Sterling Metals' Share Price Dips 2.8% Amid Thin Trading Volume
Sterling Metals Corp., a Canadian mineral-exploration company, saw its share price slip by 2.8% on August 6th to close near C$1.05.
This decline came despite the fact that only about 5,450 shares changed hands, with relative volume at roughly 0.11, barely a tenth of what's considered normal for a day.
As a junior explorer with a market capitalization of around C$50 million, this is essentially a standstill in terms of trading activity.
The company's recent drilling efforts at the Soo Copper Project in Ontario have yielded promising results, including wide, near-surface copper-equivalent intercepts and a multi-kilometre mineralized corridor.
