Stocks rallied on Monday as tensions in the Middle East eased and crude oil prices plunged more than 5%.

The S&P 500 Index rose 1.48%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.32%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index climbed 1.78%.

WTI crude oil fell sharply, knocking down bond yields, including a 5-basis-point drop in the 10-year T-note yield to 4.68%.
