Strait of Hormuz LNG Flows Key to Europe's Natural Gas Future
European natural gas prices are unlikely to normalize unless LNG flows in the Strait of Hormuz improve, according to Goldman Sachs. Weak storage inventories on the continent have led to concerns about a potential supply crunch during winter.
The firm suggests that European demand is rising, and prices could surge above $30 per TTF if more LNG cargoes are not secured. Currently, EU storage injections remain sluggish.
