Strathmore Welcomes Seasoned Financial Expert to Board
Strathmore Plus Uranium Corporation SUU (OTCQB: SUUFF) (FSE: TO3) has appointed Richard Newbury to its Board of Directors. With a career spanning over four decades, Newbury brings significant experience in the financial services industry.
Newbury earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Carleton University in 1972 and began working at Merrill Lynch in 1976 as a commodity futures broker. He specialized in forest products, gold, copper, and financial instruments during his 15-year tenure.
After leaving the investment industry for private business, Newbury returned to Haywood Securities where he spent over 30 years before retiring in 2018. Since then, he has provided strategic support to junior resource companies in capital raising and corporate marketing.
Strathmore Plus CEO Dev Randhawa commented on Newbury's appointment, stating that the company welcomes him as a valuable addition to their Board and management team.
