Summit LNG Terminal Restarts Gas Supply After Brief Shutdown
Summit LNG Terminal has resumed supplying regasified liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the national grid, providing some relief from a severe gas shortage that had disrupted power generation and industrial production.
The terminal started supplying around 110 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) at approximately 6:10pm on Thursday.
Summit Group stated that it expects supply to gradually increase to around 550 mmcfd by about 2:00am Saturday.
