Supply Meets Demand, Natural Gas Prices Drop
Natural gas prices cooled off on Wednesday as supply matched demand for most of the summer, stalling NYMEX futures at midday. This is not surprising given that natural gas producers have been able to keep up with Mother Nature's might.
NYMEX futures were down less than a penny to $2.679/MMBtu at noon ET, while physical prices at Henry Hub dropped to $2.602 early in the day.
