T&T Gas Production Averages 2,541 MMscf/d in 2025, New Projects on the Horizon

The natural gas production outlook in Trinidad and Tobago has improved slightly, averaging 2,541 MMscf/d in 2025 compared to 2,539 MMscf/d in 2024.

This modest increase interrupted a year-on-year decline recorded since 2022, when production averaged 2,688 MMscf/d.

However, the trend may not continue, as preliminary monthly production figures for January to March 2026 show an average of approximately 2,427 MMscf/d, about 4.5% below the 2025 annual average.

The addition of new projects is crucial in maintaining overall supply, particularly in a mature hydrocarbon province like Trinidad and Tobago.
