T&T LNG Exports Inch Higher Amid Global Market Volatility
Trinidad and Tobago's liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports to regional markets increased in 2025, reaching 10.7 billion cubic meters (bcm), according to data from The Energy Institute's 2026 Statistical Review of World Energy.
This represents a modest recovery in domestic LNG production, despite intensified competition in the global market.
The largest share of T&T's LNG exports went to South and Central America, receiving 4.57 bcm, followed by Europe with 3.23 bcm, and the Asia-Pacific region with 1.91 bcm.
However, the rise from 10.3 bcm in 2024 to 10.7 bcm in 2025 marks a step in the right direction, but export volumes remain well below levels seen a decade ago.
