Taekwang Lands $6.27M LNG Contract with Canada

Taekwang Group, a leading domestic fittings maker, has secured its largest order in the US LNG market to date. The company has signed a contract worth $6.27 million (approximately 8.9 billion won) for the second phase of the Canada LNG project.

The Canadian LNG export terminal is an ultra-large liquefied natural gas facility being built in Kitty Mat, British Columbia. The second phase aims to build two additional trains annually with a capacity of 7 million tons each, totaling 28 million tons of LNG production per year. This investment is estimated at $12.5 billion (about 18 trillion won).

Taekwang has previously supplied products for the first phase of the project and is expected to secure additional contracts in the future.
